Most messages are delivered instantly however the following can affect message deliverability:
- Short messages (160 - 320 characters long) are likely to be delivered than long messages (350 -800 characters long).
- Using special characters (@, `, ~, apostrophe) and emojis in your message might cause message not to be delivered because of encoding issues.
- Recipient inbox full.
- Congestion on the recipient network.
- Poor network connectivity of the recipients handset or device.
- Device or handset or SIM does not support ESME messaging.
- Technical challenges on the network provider's end.
- Inactive SIM cannot receive messages
